"No joking right now. You just scared the hell out of me. What were you thinking trying to get out of bed without help! You're too weak for that!" he said a little loud with a huff.
I frowned, he was mad at me I didn't want to upset him. I felt the burn behind my eyelids as the tears formed and my jaw quivered, I tried to stop it. No crying I told myself, but apparently I don't listen because I did cry.
"I'm… s…s…sorry!" I cried begging for forgiveness. He raised his hand and I flinched away, in my mind I knew he wouldn't hurt me, but it was an automatic reaction. My flinching caused him to stop his hand midair and draw it back.
"I…" he was speechless, Carlisle Cullen was speechless! What have I done?
"I'm so sorry, I'm…" gasp "really, really sorry," I sobbed. "Please forgive me, I'm s…" he touched his finger to my lips stopping my rambling.
"I'm not mad, not at all. I was just worried. You have no reason to apologize… I do, I should not have raised my voice at you. Please don't say you're sorry, it breaks my heart to hear you say something you don't need to. You did nothing wrong," he said as I mustered up all of my energy to sit up and move on the bed so I could wrap my arms around his neck. I crushed myself into his stone body and he wrapped his arms around me under my arms holding me close as his face went into my hair and he kissed my temple. He stood up and I wrapped my legs around his waist not wanting to let him go.
"I love you daddy," I said. "

" "Daddy?" She was standing there with Eddy dragging on the ground behind her. That poor bear got a battering from Maddie; I guessed it was a good thing it was in the army. I held the sheet closer to my body as she walked to the edge of the bed.
"What are you doing with Mummy?"
"Talking, honey." Edward gave me a look. Shit! Maddie crawled up on the bed unaware of the silent conversation we were having about my unofficial title.
"I missed you, Daddy."
"I missed you too, Sweetheart. I'm never going away again."
"Good," she muttered, before snuggling into Edward's side and closing her eyes. It was beautiful seeing them together after such a long time apart. "I love you, Daddy."
"I love you, too." I watched as Edward moved to kiss her forehead. I swooned a little.
"She's lucky to have you," I whispered.
"I'm lucky to have her," he said before our lips met for a brief moment. "And you..." "

" Four excruciating hours later, I heard Edward's car pulling up in front of the house. I ran to the window and watched as he pulled a sleeping Charlie out of his seat. He carried him towards the house and Esme and I both headed to the front door.
Edward opened the door just as we got there.
"Did you have a good time?" Esme asked.
"Shhhh," Edward said, putting his free hand to his mouth.
"How long has he been out?" I asked rubbing my hand against Charlie's back and peaking at his sleep flushed cheeks.
"He fell asleep about two minutes into the drive home."
I looked at the clock. It was three.
"You fed him?"
"Yes. We had hamburgers and milkshakes from that old fashioned diner next to the theatre."
"Oh. Good."
"Can I come in all the way now?"
"Oh," Esme and I said in unison as we backed out of the way.
Edward went to the living room and started to set Charlie down on the sofa. Charlie stirred and opened his eyes. He grinned tiredly and looked up at Edward.
"I love you, Daddy," he yawned before turning over and closing his eyes again.
Edward froze. I froze. Esme froze.
"I...I love you too, buddy." "

I squinted, pursed my lips, and nodded. Then with a shrug, I added, "Of course, my love stretches that far four times, so I guess I love you the most. Sorry."
"I meant to say ten times," she argued.
"You did not."
"I did."
"You love me all that way ten times?"
She nodded; picking up the plastic starfish and making it kiss the plastic shark.
"That's really a lot," I acknowledged. My heart swelled in my chest. She loved me. She adored me. Her love knew no bounds. She was just like Isabella. She loved me even when I was horrible. It was her love that made me a better man, someone worthy of love. "Well, I meant to say my love goes on forever, without end, infinitely."
She giggled and looked at me with her mother's eyes. "You sound like Buzz."
"Buzz?"
"To infinity and beyond!"
"Oh, Buzz Lightyear." We had watched all three Toy Story movies more times than I could count. "Yes, I love you to infinity and beyond."
My Penny thought it over for a minute. She lined up her plastic sea creatures along the edge of the tub, and then knocked them into the water one at a time.
"Well, I love you to infinity and beyond infinity times. I win."
Her ability to love was mostly Swan. Her competitiveness? All Masen.
I had to laugh. I touched her perfect little nose with my finger. "You win this time, Pennylove. This time." "

The I Love you Daddy contest is closing tomorrow!
Hey everyone! The I Love you Daddy contest is closing tomorrow! The staff and I will go though the wonderful entrees and decide on the winners! It will take time; we had some great but long stories, and we must judge fairly. The winners will be announced August 6th God willing.
